The Garfield Lake Review is an annual literary and visual arts magazine established in 1971. Editorial selections, magazine design, and layout are all completed by students of Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan. We are interested in publishing work from our college community, but we also draw from talented writers and artists beyond the immediate community. We encourage writers and artists to review previous issues of the magazine at http://www.garfieldlakereview.com before submitting work.

We review all work anonymously: please do not include your name or other personal identifiers in the file title or in the submission itself.

The submission deadline for the 2021 edition is Oct. 12, 2020.

The print version of the magazine is available in April annually; contributors within the continental U.S. will receive a complimentary print copy, while those outside of the continental U.S. will receive a digital copy or may pay shipping for a hard copy.
